Every year, millions of people descend upon this Brooklyn beach neighborhood to experience the beach and classic attractions. But most know only a fraction of the history.

This tour will cover a century and a half of history, exploring how Coney Island became a beloved destination and is synonymous with summer in New York. From the Switchback Railway to the Elephantine Colossus to Steeplechase, all the way to today’s Luna Park, we will cover it all.
