When the Broadway Theatre District migrated north from Herald Square to Times Square in the early 1900s, a group of theatrical pioneers were making history as they replaced the stables and manure of 42nd Street with Broadway theaters.
Actor and historian Tim Dolan will explore five of the oldest Broadway theaters as he unearths stories of Broadway’s personalities, architecture, money, gossip, intrigue, and ghosts. Take a trip back to Times Square’s early days for a deep dive into Broadway’s beginnings!
